Kyrgyzstan will compete in Asia/Oceania Zone Group IV again in 2013 having spent just one year in Group III.

After losing all three of their round-robin ties at the Asia/Oceania Zone Group III event in Tehran, Kyrgyzstan were relegated to Group IV after falling to Vietnam and Bangladesh in the ‘relegation’ pool.
History
Kyrgyzstan first competed in Davis Cup in 2002 and their best performances have been appearing in Asia/Oceania Zone Group III, which they achieved twive in 2003 and 2012. Prior to 1992, players from Kyrgyzstan represented the Soviet Union.
